Lumina

We are of the light. There is water, a flow. Darkness reigns before the plunge. Stars whirl in endless awe and we arise, shimmering silver. Lights dance in the sky, blue and green. The moon smiles full. We feel the air, cold on our skin. This is the Illumination.

The Illumination brings us into the bosom of the moon. The tides are its lullabies, which always it sings tirelessly.

But not today. The moon is sick, or so we thought. She has stopped singing, and the beautiful waters have left behind a desert of sand in our home. We look up at the stars, and we see the lights, but they are wrong. The lights have betrayed her, they have encircled her in a green enclosure. I must heal her. I must free her.
