Consecration

Hark! Thou art like the stars, thou lightest up the night.

When the road be long, thou art the new breath of life.

Like the good shepherd, thou dost find and bring us back to thee,

even when we have turned away and hurt thee.

Grant me, O Lord, the strength to stay by thy side.

Throughout this exile, let thou be my faithful guide.

Grant me thy majestic wisdom, that I may share it with all.

Through my writings, let thy message be heard by all.

​

Use me, O Lord, through this thy gift to me,

to proclaim thy beautiful word of love, mercy and salvation.

In the glorious name of Jesus Christ, our Savior and King,
